This white wine presents itself with a brilliant color and greenish reflections that immediately catch the eye. The bouquet is fine and delicate, with notes of green apple that make it pleasant and lively. On the palate, it offers an inviting and rounded taste, perfect for accompanying first courses, seafood, and fish-based dishes.

The origin of Verdeca is shrouded in mystery. The only certainty is that this grape variety has been cultivated in various areas of Puglia for a long time. It is the most popular white grape variety in the region. Like many other grape varieties, it is believed that Verdeca comes from nearby Greece. Its name derives from the greenish color of the grape cluster, which is also reflected in the color of the wine.

The typical geographical indication, known by the acronym IGT, represents the third of the five wine classifications in Italy. This designation indicates wines produced in generally large areas but following specific requirements. The IGT is important because it represents the first step of the pyramid that distinguishes wine without indication from wine with indication, guaranteeing superior quality.

To best appreciate its aromatic and gustatory potential, it is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature of around 12°-14°C.
